エリザベス女王のラテン語Elizabetha Reginaを表すERのイニシャルが刻まれた9CTゴールドシグネットリング。イニシャルに関しては女王に対しての敬意を表すために作られたのか、前オーナーのイニシャルと偶然同じなのかは不明ですが、良いイニシャルだと思います。内側にP.PLD(Payton,Pepper&Sons Ltd)メーカーマーク、9、・375（9金純度マーク）、バーミンガム錨アッセイオフィスマーク、1952年デイトレター刻印。貴金属の純度を検査するイギリス政府の公認機関バーミンガムアッセイオフィスのホールマークが押されています。状態は目立つキズや破損もなく良好な状態です。年代物になりますので細かな擦れ、目につき難い細かなキズ、摩耗などがございます。予めご了承下さい。

Vintage British 1950's P.PLD Initial Monogram 9ct Gold Signet Ring, size JP16.5.

This 9ct gold signet ring features the initials "ER" which stands for "Elizabetha Regina" in Latin, referring to Queen Elizabeth. It is unclear whether the initials were created as a sign of respect for the Queen or if they happen to be the same as the previous owner's initials. Nonetheless, the initials are considered to be a good choice. The inside of the ring bears the manufacturer mark "P.PLD" for Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd, as well as the hallmarks "9" and ".375" for the purity of the gold, the anchor mark of the Birmingham assay office, and the date letter for 1952. The hallmark is a mark of authenticity certified by the Birmingham Assay Office, a government-approved agency that inspects the purity of precious metals. The ring is in good condition with no visible scratches or damage, but due to its vintage age, there may be minor wear and tear that may not be noticeable.
