英国ヴィンテージ 1960's Monomil Ltd ハンドエングレーヴィングシルバーバングル

マシン彫りにハンドエングレーヴィングの装飾が施されたソリッドシルバーバングル。シンプルながらしっかりと留まる金具はパテント出願の刻印が押され、その他、内側にMM（Monomil Ltd）工房マーク、バーミンガム錨アッセイオフィスマーク、ライオンマーク（スターリングシルバー）、1967年デイトレター刻印。イギリス政府が貴金属の純度を検査して保証する公認機関バーミンガムアッセイオフィスのホールマークが押されています。状態は目立つキズもなく良好な状態です。年代物になりますので擦れ、目につき難い細かなキズ、シルバー特有の変色等がございます。予めご了承下さい。

英国ホールマークについて：
1300年代エドワード1世の法律により、イングランドで販売される銀は銀貨と同じ品質でなければならないと定められ、16世紀から運用れる英国ホールマークは英国政府管理のもと、アッセイオフィスと呼ばれる検査機関で厳格な検査に合格した証明です。メーカーが押せるマークとは違い、英国ホールマーク自体に重要な意味を持つ理由です。

1960's British Vintage Monomil Ltd Hand Engraved Silver Bangle

This solid silver bangle is decorated with machine-engraved and hand-engraved patterns. The simple yet secure clasp has a patent pending stamp, and the inside of the bangle features the MM (Monomil Ltd) workshop mark, the Birmingham Anchor Assay Office mark, the lion mark (Sterling silver), and a 1967 date letter stamp. The hallmark of the Birmingham Assay Office, an official organization certified by the British government to inspect and guarantee the purity of precious metals, is also stamped on the bangle. The item is in good condition with no noticeable scratches, but as it is a vintage item, there may be some wear, minor scratches that are difficult to see, and natural silver tarnishing. Please note this before purchasing.

About British Hallmark:
By the law of Edward I in the 14th century, silver sold in England must be of the same quality as silver coins. The British hallmark, which has been in use since the 16th century, is proof that the silver has passed strict inspection by an examination agency called the Assay Office, which is under the control of the British government. The hallmark itself is significant and carries more meaning than the marks a manufacturer can apply.
