BRITISH VINTAGE THREEPENCE SILVER COIN BRACELET ― 1885?1940 ―

1885年から1940年にかけて発行された、イギリスの3ペンス銀貨を16枚つなげて作られたヴィンテージのシルバーコインブレスレットです。歴史的価値の高い3ペンス銀貨を贅沢に使用した、存在感のあるデザインが魅力。手元にしっかりとした重みとクラシックな輝きを与えてくれる、唯一無二の一本です。使用されているコインの年代は、1885、1916、1918、1921（2枚）、1922、1931（2枚）、1934（4枚）、1937（3枚）、1940の計16枚。コインの発行年代により銀の含有率が異なる点も興味深いポイントです。 1919年までの3ペンス硬貨は、銀含有率92.5%のスターリングシルバー。1916年や1918年のコインがこれに該当します。一方、1920年から1946年にかけて発行された3ペンス硬貨は、銀含有率50%に変更されており、1921年、1922年、1931年、1934年、1937年、1940年のコインはこの仕様となります。当時の金属不足やコストの影響により、銀含有率が大幅に引き下げられました。 1937年以降は黄銅製の12角形コインも登場しましたが、こちらのブレスレットに使用されているものはすべて銀貨タイプです。コインの経年による表情の違いや一点物の味わいも楽しんでいただけます。状態は目立つキズや破損もなく良好な状態です。年代物になりますので細かな擦れ、細かなキズなどがございます。予めご了承下さい。

This vintage bracelet is crafted from sixteen authentic British Threepence silver coins, issued between 1885 and 1940. A truly unique piece constructed with historically significant coins, it offers a distinctive presence and a refined, classic shine. The substantial weight and character of each coin create an elegant, timeless impression at the wrist.

The coins used include the years: 1885, 1916, 1918, 1921 (×2), 1922, 1931 (×2), 1934 (×4), 1937 (×3), and 1940 — a total of sixteen pieces. The silver content varies depending on the year of minting, which is an appealing detail for collectors and enthusiasts.

Coins minted up to 1919 were struck in 92.5% sterling silver, including the 1916 and 1918 pieces featured here. From 1920 to 1946, the silver content was reduced to 50%, affecting the 1921, 1922, 1931, 1934, 1937, and 1940 coins used in this bracelet. This decrease was due to rising metal costs and economic pressures of the time. Although brass twelve-sided coins also appeared from 1937 onward, all coins used in this bracelet are traditional round silver types.

The natural patina and individual character developed over decades give this piece its unique charm and depth. Overall condition is excellent, with no major damage or flaws. As a vintage item, it may feature minor surface wear consistent with age.
