1978年にイギリス・バーミンガムでホールマークが刻印された、スターリングシルバー製のヴィンテージ・バックルリングです。フロントには、ベルトとバックルをモチーフにした伝統的なデザインを採用。このバックルモチーフはヴィクトリア時代から親しまれており、絆、忠誠、永遠のつながりを象徴する意匠として知られています。リング全体には流れるような装飾が施され、程よいボリューム感と重厚さを備えた存在感のある一本。装飾性がありながらも、シルバーの質感が際立つ落ち着いた佇まいです。内側にGCメーカーズマーク、ライオンマーク（スターリングシルバー）、バーミンガムアッセイオフィスマーク、1978年デイトレターの刻印が押されています。これらは貴金属の純度を検査するイギリス政府の公認機関であるバーミンガムアッセイオフィスのホールマークです。状態は目立つキズや破損もなく良好な状態です。ただし、ヴィンテージのため、擦れやキズが見られます。あらかじめご了承ください。

英国ホールマークについて：
1300年代のエドワード1世の法律により、イングランドで販売される銀は銀貨と同じ品質でなければならないと定められ、16世紀から運用されています。英国ホールマークは、英国政府管理のもと、アッセイオフィスと呼ばれる検査機関で厳格な検査に合格した証明となります。メーカーが押すマークとは異なり、英国ホールマーク自体が重要な意味を持っています。

This is a British vintage buckle ring crafted in sterling silver, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1978.

The front features a traditional belt and buckle motif.
This buckle design has been cherished since the Victorian era and is known to symbolize bonds, loyalty, and everlasting connection.

The entire ring is adorned with flowing decorative engravings, giving it a well-balanced volume and a sense of solid weight.
While richly decorative, the ring maintains a calm and refined appearance that highlights the natural beauty of sterling silver.

Inside the band, the GC maker’s mark, the lion mark indicating sterling silver, the Birmingham Assay Office mark, and the 1978 date letter are clearly stamped.
These hallmarks were applied by the Birmingham Assay Office, a British government-authorized institution responsible for testing and certifying the purity of precious metals.

The condition is good, with no noticeable damage or major defects.
