BRITISH VINTAGE 1966 FM LONDON HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER ID BRACELET

1966年のロンドンホールマークがIDプレートに押された、スターリングシルバー製のヴィンテージIDブレスレット。手首に沿うように浅いカーブがつけられたIDプレートに、丸みのあるクラシックなカーブチェーンを組み合わせた一本です。プレートは細長くすっきりとした形状で、チェーンのボリュームとも自然につながるバランスの良いデザインです。シンプルな構成ながら、プレート部分が光を受けてすっきりと反射し、手元にさりげない存在感を加えてくれます。程よい厚みのあるカーブチェーンにより、華奢になりすぎず、単体でも日常使いしやすいブレスレットです。IDプレートにSTERLING SILVER、FM（Fred Manshaw Ltd）メーカーズマーク、ライオンパサント（スターリングシルバー）、ロンドン豹アッセイオフィスマーク、1966年デイトレター、チェーンなどにもライオンマークが数箇所押されています。これらは貴金属の純度を検査するイギリス政府の公認機関であるロンドンアッセイオフィスのホールマークです。状態は目立つキズや破損もなく良好な状態です。ただし、ヴィンテージのため、細かな擦れや細かなキズが見られます。あらかじめご了承ください。

英国ホールマークについて：
1300年代エドワード1世の法律により、イングランドで販売される銀は銀貨と同じ品質でなければならないと定められ、16世紀から運用れる英国ホールマークは英国政府管理のもと、アッセイオフィスと呼ばれる検査機関で厳格な検査に合格した証明です。メーカーが押せるマークとは違い、英国ホールマーク自体に重要な意味があります。

BRITISH VINTAGE 1966 FM LONDON HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER ID BRACELET

A British vintage ID bracelet made from sterling silver, with 1966 London hallmarks stamped on the ID plate.

This piece combines a slightly curved ID plate designed to sit naturally along the wrist with a rounded, classic curb chain. The ID plate has a slim and clean shape, connecting smoothly with the volume of the chain to create a well-balanced silhouette.

Although simple in construction, the ID plate reflects the light cleanly and adds a subtle presence to the wrist. The curb chain has a comfortable thickness, giving the bracelet enough weight and character without feeling too delicate, making it easy to wear on its own for everyday use.

The ID plate is stamped with STERLING SILVER, the FM maker’s mark for Fred Manshaw Ltd, the lion passant for sterling silver, the London leopard’s head Assay Office mark, and the 1966 date letter. The lion passant mark is also stamped in several places on the chain. These are official British hallmarks from the London Assay Office, a government-authorised institution responsible for testing the purity of precious metals.

The bracelet is in good condition with no noticeable damage or major scratches. As this is a vintage item, please note that there may be minor surface wear and small scratches.

About British Hallmarks:
Under a law established by Edward I in the 1300s, silver sold in England was required to be of the same quality as silver coinage. British hallmarks, which have been in use since the 16th century, are official marks applied under British government control by assay offices after strict testing. Unlike marks that can be stamped by makers themselves, British hallmarks carry significant importance as proof of metal purity and official inspection.
