1981年、イギリス・シェフィールドのフルホールマークが刻まれたシルバーインゴットペンダント。インゴット型のフォルムに、PMメーカーズマーク、シェフィールドアッセイオフィスマーク、ライオンパッサント（スターリングシルバー）、1981年デイトレターが刻印されています。刻印が正面に並ぶデザインで主張しすぎないサイズ感ながらも、インゴット特有の立体感とシルバーの質感が存在感を放ちます。刻印は英国政府公認の検査機関であるシェフィールドアッセイオフィスによるもので、スターリングシルバーとして正式に検査・認証されたことを示しています。年代物のため、細かな擦れや小キズ、シルバー特有の変色等が見られますが、目立つダメージのない良好な状態です。

英国ホールマークについて：
1300年代に制定されたエドワード1世の法令を起源とする英国ホールマーク制度は、アッセイオフィスと呼ばれる公的検査機関によって運用されています。銀製品は厳格な検査を経て刻印が与えられ、その品質が保証されます。メーカーが独自に刻印するマークとは異なり、英国ホールマークは公的な品質証明として重要な意味を持っています。

A vintage sterling silver ingot pendant bearing full Sheffield hallmarks, assayed in 1981. The classic ingot-shaped pendant is stamped with the PM maker's mark, Sheffield Assay Office mark, Lion Passant (Sterling Silver), and the 1981 date letter.

The hallmarks are prominently displayed on the front, creating a distinctive design that highlights the pendant's heritage and craftsmanship. Compact in size yet substantial in appearance, this piece offers a timeless and understated presence.

These hallmarks were applied by the Sheffield Assay Office, an official British assay office responsible for testing and certifying precious metal items. Their presence confirms that the pendant was officially assayed and certified as sterling silver.

As with most vintage pieces, minor surface wear, small scratches, and natural silver patina are present. Overall, the pendant remains in very good vintage condition with no significant damage.
