1973年、イギリス・バーミンガムのアッセイオフィスのホールマークを刻んだ、スターリングシルバー製のリング。幅広のフラットなバンドに、スクエアのブラックオニキスをセットしたシンプルなデザインが、モダンな印象を添えます。艶のある漆黒のオニキスとシルバーのコントラストが際立ち、手元に程よい存在感をもたらす一本です。内側にAPメーカーズマーク、ライオンパサント（スターリングシルバー）、バーミンガムアッセイオフィスマーク、1973年デイトレターの刻印が押されています。これらは貴金属の純度を検査するイギリス政府の公認機関であるバーミンガムアッセイオフィスのホールマークです。状態は目立つキズや破損もなく良好な状態です。ただし、ヴィンテージのため、擦れやキズが見られます。あらかじめご了承ください。

英国ホールマークについて：
1300年代のエドワード1世の法律により、イングランドで販売される銀は銀貨と同じ品質でなければならないと定められ、16世紀から運用されています。英国ホールマークは、英国政府管理のもと、アッセイオフィスと呼ばれる検査機関で厳格な検査に合格した証明となります。メーカーが押すマークとは異なり、英国ホールマーク自体が重要な意味を持っています。

A vintage sterling silver ring hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in 1973. The ring features a wide, flat band with a square black onyx stone, creating a simple design with a modern feel. The glossy black onyx contrasts beautifully with the silver, giving the ring a distinctive yet understated presence.

The inside of the ring is stamped with the AP maker's mark, the lion passant (sterling silver), the Birmingham Assay Office mark, and the 1973 date letter. These are official British hallmarks applied by the Birmingham Assay Office, a government-authorised institution responsible for testing and hallmarking precious metals.

The ring is in good condition with no noticeable damage or major scratches. However, as this is a vintage piece, there are some signs of wear and scratches. Please note this before purchasing.
